LA DATCHA

Project Overview
FULL PROJECT MANAGEMENT OF THE FIRST SEA EXPLORER BUILT(ICE CLASS WITH DUAL HELICOPTER OPERATION FOR HELISKIINGWITH LARGE GARAGE)
Commissioned as the world’s first purpose-built heli-ski explorer yacht, the 77m La Datcha challenged Superyacht Project Management to fuse two seemingly incompatible worlds: uncompromising comfort and extreme exploration capability.
This landmark project was delivered with precision oversight, ensuring six-star luxury within an Ice-Class hull engineered to navigate ice and operate autonomously for up to 40 days. Every design decision balanced refinement with rugged performance:
- Dual helicopter hangars with an integrated lift and aviation-grade systems concealed beneath teak decks.
- Expedition toys and support craft, including a three-person Triton submersible and a custom rescue boat, both procured and commissioned under our management.
- Resilient engineering, combining a steel shell designed for high-latitude storms with interiors tailored for warmth, comfort, and owner expression.
Superyacht Project Management orchestrated the efforts of hundreds of international specialists to deliver this unique vessel. From polar-code compliance and flight-deck certification to luxury fit-out and bespoke owner touches, every stage was harmonized into a seamless launch.
La Datcha today stands as proof that adventure and luxury can be seamlessly fused into one pioneering icon of modern yachting.
